Falling for 424 Fifth by Lord and Taylor

We know it’s been a while – we’re so sorry.

But to celebrate our return, we bring you the highlight of our past Tuesday evening. The Hudson’s Bay Company hosted the launch of Lord and Taylor’s new private brand, 424 Fifth, at their flagship downtown store. Fashion Magazine’s Joy Pecknold along with Hudson’s Bay’s Marie Holman-Rao showed party-goers just how much they’d be coveting the brand after a sneak peak fashion presentation.

Named after Lord and Taylor’s iconic Manhattan address but clearly differentiated from its parent, the label boasts a fresher “lifestyle” inspiration with fashion pieces to take looks from day-to-night. The best part? All pieces are on-trend and quite fairly priced between $29 – $300.  I was pretty positive I was ready to buy everything laid out in front of me. From tulip skirts to beautifully printed pieces, here are our favourite looks from their Spring 2014 lookbook:
