The sun’ll come out tomorrow

Lien and I took these photos a couple weeks back, when there was actually sun in the forecast.  I’m not sure why June is treating us so terribly, but I thought we’d reminisce in the sporadic appearances of the sun with an old outfit post.

The sun'll come out tomorrow

Fitted khaki jacket (similar) , Forever 21 white button-up tank with lace and pearl detailing, The Latest Scoop yellow jeggings, Guess by Marciano nude pumps, Ray-Ban aviators

Michael Kors watch, BCBGeneration bangle, ASOS spiked rose gold bracelet, vintage belt

Last month, I discovered the cutest pop-up shop on South Granville.  I’m not sure how many of you have stumbled upon it, but The Latest Scoop follows the hot trend of flash retailing by bringing its stylish inventory across Vancouver.  From its changing destination to its changing merchandise, I was shocked to find that I loved everything in the store.  I managed to control myself and only walk out with two things: two pairs of coloured jeggings. I opted for yellow and mint jeggings, both very comfortable and very affordable.  It’s not exactly something you can wear at the office, but it definitely adds a colourful kick to your weekend attire.

I believe they’re still in their current location on South Granville (next to Anthropologie) so be sure to check them out!

  1. Your yellow coloured denim look fabulous! We love how you’ve styled them with a neutral colour palette—it’s sophisticated and allows the colour of the jeans to really pop! Thanks so much for featuring us here Lien and Andrea, we hope to bump into both of you in the store soon. ps: we’re still open on South Granville for the next few weeks! (2928 Granville St.)
